Berlin - Folsom Europe is the largest fetish social in Europe and once again attracted numerous visitors from all over the world this year. This year, the organizers have improved the concept of the entrance gates and other aspects have also been improved this year.
The majority of our team traveled to Berlin by train and car on Thursday to take part in Folsom Europe 2024, for which much cooler weather was forecast this year. Despite the cool, windy and sometimes rainy weather, many people gathered in Fuggerstraße and Welserstraße in Berlin Schöneberg to show off their fetishes.
Personally, I repacked my outfits twice before the trip to Berlin because eighteen degrees Celsius and latex in combination seemed too cool for me. So I spent the whole weekend walking around Fuggerstrasse in my firefighter's outfit. The outfit turned out to be practical, because a jacket like this with lots of pockets is also good for storing sound recording equipment, which we used for interviews at the street festival.
It was a great event for us, because we got to talk to a lot of Gearheads and made GearFM better known in the community.
Folsom is the event par excellence for meeting gearheads from all over the world. From San Francisco, Madrid, Bangkok, Munich, Rome, Ireland and many other places, gearheads and fetishists came together to exchange ideas, celebrate and have a great time in Berlin.
This year, more sanitary facilities were made available, the area of the street festival was expanded and the distribution of the stands was also better organized. The cooler temperatures compared to the previous year meant that people felt more comfortable in Gear, which contributed to a better atmosphere. With many exhibitors from the scene and a good gastronomic offer, there was something for every gearhead. A varied program on three stages provided good entertainment. As every year, various parties in Berlin were well attended and there were also many people on Fuggerstraße around the Prinzknecht on the previous evenings to catch up with friends and acquaintances over drinks. We were also there the nights before and were able to introduce GearFM to many friends and gearheads.
