GearFM goes on air!

I almost didn't get around to writing a blog post about the most important topic at the moment: the start of our scheduled 24/7 program!

We are currently in the final preparations for the big show on August 31 from 9 p.m. (CEST). You can expect great music from our DJs Greg, s51_biker and others, with short moderations from me to take you on a musical journey to our DJs through Europe. At the same time, we are currently working on a concept for a video livestream, so you might even be able to see the DJs while they spin the turntables for you. I'm really looking forward to finally going on air and presenting you all with a radio station for the gearhead scene. Are you also a DJ and would like to join us or play? I've often been asked what genres of music we'll be playing on GearFM. In general, I can put it like this: during the day it will be in the house/dance direction, which at night and in the evenings at the weekend goes in the direction of techno, hardstyle and similar harder music. However, we still want to offer you a broad spectrum of music genres, so it's possible that one of our DJs will do an extra show with a special genre that you don't usually hear at our club. So stay tuned and feel free to request genres (except Schlager ;-P) that you would like us to include in our program or that you would even like to play for us as a DJ.
